Arron Masters is a choreographer compelled by the emotional landscape inside the story to create pure & classic yet at times raw & edgy movement expressions. Her debut in the dance scene of New York was a showcase at Brooklyn Arts Exchange (BAX), where her work was praised by the Village Voice as “classic, but passionate and deeply moving.” Her work has been seen Off-Broadway in Re-Vive at the Marjorie S Deane Little Theatre and appeared in the New York Jazz Choreography Project, as well as her self-produced concert Seasons, which enjoyed sold out audiences. She recently interned with choreographers Patti Colombo and Tony-nominated Randy Skinner on their respective productions Kiss Me Kate and No, No, Nanette. Her honors include a Certificate of Choreographic Excellence from the American College Dance Festival and presenting choreography on the Miss America stage in Atlantic City. Arron holds a BFA in dance from Missouri State and a Certificate of Completion from the Limon Dance Foundation’s Professional Studies Program. Currently, she is preparing for the future launch of a dance company – MasterMoves Productions. You can see more samples of her work on YouTube.
Aaron, what an inspiration you are! However, I do feel quite guilty that I’ve been sitting on my ass for the past 30 minutes reading your blog while I should have been doing the dishes. I can’t wait to see your next post!
Arron, so grateful to be able to see your work here since I have not been able to see it in person. So lyrical and powerful!
